MEMBERSHIP

AAPNA offers its members a variety of products and services geared toward the total enrichment of each individual artist. As an AAPNA member, you will receive discounts on film, chemistry, and processing services. Members will also enjoy a minimum of four technical seminars per year. Topics include but not limited to: Using artificial and natural light, Introduction to the Zone System of Photography, Effective Marketing of your Pictures and Choosing the perfect film for any occasion.

AAPNA also believes that giving back to our community is just as important as producing quality, positive images. That is why AAPNA members are included in several community outreach programs. Our free family Christmas portrait program brought friends and families together during the holidays and the spirit of togetherness continues today. Our Photographic Mentoring program has opened the eyes of our community to emerging minority artists while providing our protégés with a solid technical and spiritual foundation.

AAPNA also provides forums in which our members can exhibit their work. Our annual 2 month exhibit at The Ohio State University is just one of the many. These exhibition offer our members the opportunity to bask in the glow of public expression while enjoying the professional growth that critical feedback presents. Probably the most outstanding component offered by AAPNA is the commitment to the education of its membership. Each member is a mentor or protégé to the other and this provides a constant environment of growth. The future will offer our members new and exciting exhibition alternatives while providing exceptional photographic excursions throughout North America.

Benefits of becoming a AAPNA member. Membership entitles you to: all seminars, discounts of film and processing (at selected locations), discounts on hotel/motel/airfare to group photographic safaris, inclusion in all AAPNA showings and exhibitions, and press credential just to name a few of the benefits. Membership is $50 per year ( $25 per year for students).

 Members are billed annually in January of the following year
