Wanda L. Brown
I always had an interest in photography while growing up NYC, I
would always have a disposable camera taking pictures of every place I
went. In 1979 I took a photography classes and fell in love
with it. During this
time I acquired my first 35 mm camera and started taking pictures of everything
I saw. I always enjoyed taking pictures. I put my interest in photography
on hold until 2003, when I started researching the Columbus area for positive
activities for my 11 year old son to participate in, when I found out about
AAPNA. We have been members since our first meeting.
Through AAPNA, and the guidance of John Branham Sr. , Robert Landrum, and Kevin Dubenion , I have learned a lot more about photography.
As the first female Vice President, I hope to make a difference in the future of the club.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
As a 2005 breast cancer survivor, I now understand the meaning of preserving a moment in time. I enjoy taking pictures of people and nature.
